We focus on what actually changes a person: seeing clearly, reducing self-deception, and building the inner stability to meet life without compulsions. Our work is grounded, method-based, and oriented toward results in daily life, not fleeting experiences.

The mission
From Shadows exists to help sincere seekers cultivate Awareness, Discernment, and Presence through practical inner training. We translate time-tested methods into clear, grounded guidance so you can confront inner distortion, meet reality directly, and act in right order.

We envision a world where more people live awake, clean, and steady, no longer ruled by compulsive reactions or comforting illusions. From Shadows aims to become a trusted library and training ground for those who choose the hard work of inner clarity, and who want a practice that produces real change in daily life.
The Founder
Randy Miller founded From Shadows to serve seekers of Truth who want practice, not performance.
His work began in 2013 after an extended period of disturbing phenomena in his home. What he first experienced as a private crisis became a turning point that demanded commitment and sobriety. Over the next five years he pursued intensive study and training across several streams of disciplined practice, including Orthodox Christian formation, contemplative prayer shaped by hesychast watchfulness, and applied clearing work in homes and environments. Alongside this, he trained in structured energy work and developed a deeper sensitivity to atmosphere, affect, and what many describe as “the unseen,” though his emphasis remains on discernment over spectacle.
In 2018 he sold his possessions and moved from Phoenix, Arizona to rural Missouri. Years of isolation, hardship, and sustained exposure to nature clarified a central conviction: any spirituality that does not produce clarity, self-rule, and truthfulness will eventually become another form of avoidance.
Now living outside the United States, Randy returned to the Work with a specific aim: to build a clean, practical library anchored in Awareness, Discernment, and Presence. From Shadows is that offering.
